... return, where most of the concepts and content in the beta will reach or at least affect the live version of the game in some manner. That doesn’t mean they won’t be tweaked or changed post-release, however.
With that in mind, let’s consider what we know is coming:
Death knights,
10-man versions of all 25-man dungeons,
Inscription and glyphs,
A new vehicle system,
Destructible buildings,
Wintergrasp and Strand of the Ancients,

... is really up to the individual. You can still use it in the old world, you can still use the Mammoth's vendors. There are also places like Lake Wintergrasp where flying is turned off permanently so you don't 'cheat' and skip over all of the fighting to get from Point A to Point B. You and a bunch of your friends charging people down in a huge Mammoth is sweet. ...
Blizzon: Day Two and It's a Wrap

... about four pieces of gear thanks to battlegrounds. (Two already need updating, sigh.) I owe any little skill I have thanks to guildfolks' encouragement and advice. Just giving you the background here, so you can take my response with a grain of salt! The Wintergrasp pvp zone sounds fascinating. I love the idea of using artilery, and that you'll have to have a few kills before you can start using some of the siege engines. One reward for winning the objective of this area (capturing a keep, I think) will be access to an instance. This makes me wonder if I'll ever see that ...

Out of Mana —
So far, from the few stints of PVP I've been doing (yah, a whole 2 nights worth), I'm really liking the fast pace of both Strand of the Ancients and Wintergrasp. Let me be specific, in SOTA there are 2 rounds of 10min each and you have 40min total for Wintergrasp to decide who gets control of it for the next 2+ hours. And even then, the attacking side always has the ability to shorten this time constraint, by actually achieving the last objective faster (and they are Achievements too). This is really good I think. Time, as always, is one the most precious ...

Encrypted Text: Rogue arena comps in the 2v2 bracket
WoW.com —
... Rogues have the luxury of being one of the most potent classes in small-scale PvP environments. While we often make little difference in a vast war scenario like Wintergrasp, we are the masters of isolated combat. Due to our flexibility in both offensive and defensive abilities, we can hold our own with or without a healer to support us. This allows us to choose from a vast range of partners and playstyles. Read on to see what team compositions (comps) work best to compliment a Rogue's abilities. ...

I am happy with Wintergrasp (WG) in general. The shear farming value of the area made it a favorite immediately. There are elementals to fear and kite and kill and loot. *bliss* It is ...
Holy Paladin PvP Gear - Patch 3.1
Holypaladin.net —
... Stone Keeper’s shards are obtained by running dungeons while your faction has control of Wintergrasp and from Wintergrasp quests. They are mainly used to buy PvP enchants for your head and shoulders, to buy your PvPsqu meta gem, and to buy yellow PvP Resilience gems. You can also get your PvP Trinket using these shards. There’s also a couple pieces of gear you can get, but they’re not really very good. You can use your shards to help gear your alts if that’s your thing. The best use for them though is to turn in 30 for 2000 extra Honor Points. If you’re a ...
