Achievement: Well Read
More dots! More dots! —
... Over half of the books listed in the Well Read Achievement are found in three dungeons: Scholomance carries the greatest amount of books, followed by Live Stratholme and Scarlet Monastery: Library. Some are found in multiple places. I don't have ALL multiples listed, but I will list known multiples. ...

Five Things I Love About 3.0.2

... I’m sure no-one’s surprised that I think these are great fun. I do have a couple of quibbles about the system - mainly that there’s not enough distinction between meaningless achievements (like using a toothpick) and achievements that require some effort (like reading every book on the ‘Well Read‘ list, which requires a couple of instance runs to finish). However, I love the system and I love its rewards - I’ve already scored myself the ...

Well read And wanting more. 42 books to find (Knowledge is the meaning of life?) in various places around the world. You could, of course go and find each book individually. But that wouldn't be very efficient use of your time. Most books have multiple (2-3) spawn points so as alliance or horde you may have to enter some houses controlled by the other faction and risk getting killed. I've marked the books on this list with all currently known spawn locations, some are only available in dungeons, conveniently marked with a (d). While some spawn in ...
Higher Learning in progress
Swiftmend —
I've completed the Well Read achievement and I'm currently working on completing Higher Learning for the nice pet reward, a [Kirin Tor familiar]! It's taken me about 2 weeks to find 6/8 of the books and I've not exactly camped the spawn locations, only passed them by each time I've been in Dalaran. A guild mate was lucky to find four of them last night which I think is very lucky. He called out that one book I needed had spawned when I was in Storm Peaks with my hearthstone on cooldown so I flapped my little druid wings as hard as I could and plotted my fall ...

... Of course, there's a long list of achivements to work on, with plenty of non-raid ones in the General category. Ranging from the mundane to the silly to the downright impossible, there's enough non-"hardcore" content in here to work on. Your opinion of acheivements may not be high enough to justify a job as a part-time librarian, but there is quite a lot of fun to be had in ...
Citizen Azeroth: Welcome, Ursalla, Achievement Experiment
Citizen Azeroth —
... I will also not do experiments where I need a high level character to clear mobs for me. If I choose to do ones that take me into high level areas where I am likely to be brutally killed, so be it. For example, in the achievement Well Read, some of the books are located in places like Scholomance and Stratholme, but may have locations in other areas not normally accessible to Horde toons. The book ...
