As the title suggests, I spent a lot of time in WAR and WoW this weekend. Well a lot in JoBildo time anyway.
My wife and I and Sarzan ran through the Deadmines with Frump (a fellow CoW member) on his Death Knight when we couldn’t round out our group. Most of CoW’s in their 30s ...

I really like Warhammer Online. Sure, it has
its problems, but Mythic seems truly dedicated to the
game (unlike some other newer MMOs). It has some level of PvE, but I have Lord of the Rings Online for PvE. Public Quests, I hope, will shape the ...

I don’t know where /dance started, but I
am guessing Everquest. Regardless, dancing in MMOs has become
such a critical feature that if an MMO developer decides not to add the emote command they have to proactively defend their decision. It is a ...

MMO Roundup - A few weeks of WoW and WAR
ITG! I'm Talkin' Games —
... JoBildo hit the nail on the head with his recent posting on WAR and WoW and all the things he said there. The slower leveling pace (probably because of less levels?) in WAR absolutely kills me, I can't even think about getting to 40 on an alt. It seems to be a bit harder to see character progression in smaller chunks of play time with WAR. I'm not even 40 with my Shaman yet. Also, I wonder if picking a squishy healer as my main in WAR was the right choice. I'm really tired of being the primary target for every dps player on the map. I don't like playing the ...

WAR review
tobolds.blogspot.com 9/10/2008 — Some readers preferred that I do a specific WAR review with a recommendation of whether to play it or not, so here is my take on that. As I've already talked enough about how the game works, this post is pure opinion. I don't do scores, but rather ...
Tug of WAR
tobolds.blogspot.com 10/10/2008 — On November 13 me and many other MMORPG players will have to make a decision: Do we continue to play Warhammer Online, or do we go back to World of Warcraft and the new Wrath of the Lich King expansion? So somewhere in my head there is a little ...
If it changes the way you play, it's innovation
tobolds.blogspot.com 9/18/2008 — I've read various reports of what people did during their headstart days of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. And I'm sure there will be many more reports like that when WAR launches the release version today. And one thing I noticed with myself, ...
WAR’s Greatest Flaw
keenandgraev.com 11/2/2008 — I like to analyze the games that I’m playing. I can’t help it - it’s a habit. I almost derive as much pleasure from dissecting them and thinking about them as I do from playing them. I know, I’m seeking help, but until that ...
Return of the WAR
bookofgrudges.wordpress.com 3/17/2009 — As I think the majority of readers here knows, I took a bit of a break from WAR and have recently returned to playing more regularly with my little Warrior Priest (who dies a LOT thanks to a sea of Choppas, and contrary to popular belief!). Was ...

WAR Burnout?
ardwulfslair.wordpress.com 10/18/2008 — According to Xfire, I spent 36 hours over the past seven days playing Warhammer Online. It’s actually more than that, since Xfire rounds the length of each session down to the hour. So add probably another 3 or 4 hours on top of that.

Warhammer Online's free trial now endless
examiner.com 13 hours ago — Warhammer Online, MythicFree trials are a great way for you to try out an MMO and decide if you want to pay for it every month. Usually these trials last from around 7 to 14 days. That's usually an ample amount of time for most people to ...
