How to step in Arena as Warlock
World of Warcraft Pro - Brings Game Experience to You! —
... , Medallion of Alliance and some craftable pvp stuff (created by Tailors). Also, do some heroics/raids to get some "updates" like trinkets, rings and items that can really improve your spell power, stats or even "secondary" stats (like crit./hit/haste/penetration) but, I don't advice to change resilience for just "some" more Spell Damage/Stats/Improvements. (like change 40 of resilience for 13 of Spell Damage) "Ok, now I got a partner, a good pvp build, gear, can I queue us?" Yes! That's all to the 1st part of the guide. Some Love for Doozie

Last night, I pugged Heroic VoA since I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone in guild about whether or not is was planned, not planned, might happen, might never happen, doesn't really exist or whatever... and it went pretty well... and still no druid loots. My kinda immediate goal is to get a set of Hateful gear to go and rock out in Wintergrasp and Strand of Explosions, so... I'll keep giving it a try... at least I get a bucketload of Honor each time, enough to upgrade my Medallion of the Alliance, anyway! ...
Season 5 Arena: WTF is up with my Rating!?
Spicytuna —
... I asked around to see what the average amount of resilience is good nowadays. 700 to 800 is good, 900 and up is great. I put on my old Brutal/Vengeful Gladiator gear, and swapped in the two pieces of Deadly Gladiator gear I got from VoA. Bought the new PvP Trinket and saw that I had around 760 resilience. Sweet I should be good now! WRONG! Dead wrong. ...
Doing an Insane Amount of Honor Farming

... 15 minutes isn’t too bad at all.
Strand of the Ancient is now my favorite Battleground. There is a set time limit so there isn’t any “turtle-ing” done to waste time. There is a lot of fighting to be done on offense or defense. There is a lot of different type of ways to fight with the use of siege vehicles, anti-personnel cannons, and seaforium charges. Pretty much a mini-Wintergrasp battleground.

... Now that we’ve taken a look a the set pieces, we have to fill in the rest of the missing slots in our PvP gear. You have a few options for those pieces as well.
Hateful Honor Gear is the PvP gear you can purchase with Honor Points which doesn’t have any Arena Rating requirements. You can purchase them at the quartermaster at the war room of your faction. Stormwind for the Alliance, Ogrimmar for the Horde.
