Warrior Which reward for Ragemane's Flipper
TankSpot —
... This is the next quest I'm going to be doing but I'm not sure which reward to take for a prot cow warrior:
Crescent of Brooding Fury - Item - World of Warcraft
Hammer of Quiet Mourning - Item - World of Warcraft
Sword of Heartwrenching Slaughter - Item - World of Warcraft
It's a toss up between the axe and mace, leaning toward the mace, but I don't get any specials from either, so I'm wondering if the slower weapon will be good for grinding, but I might be rage starved more than I am already. ...

The Stoic Guardian —
... of Brooding FuryThe Holy Grail As soon as any tank reaches level 74 the first priority must be picking up your new tanking weapon. The quest Wanted: Ragemane's Flipper rewards a choice of some amazing tanking weapons that will surely replace any weapon you had previously. I wouldn't be suprised if these weapons wouldn't last until level 80. They are that good. Crescent of Brooding Fury Hammer of Quiet Mourning Sword of Heartwrenching SlaughterDon't you just love those names! I ...

... with no hint as to where to find these cauldrons. I don't remember having these kind of issues with quests in Howling Fjord or early in Dragonblight. My theory is that most Beta testers didn't get all that far in Beta (I know I didn't), and didn't provide feedback on how poorly these quest directions are. I do love the fact that pretty much every mob you fight is undead. My first mission in Zul'drak was to do the quest "Wanted: Ragemane's Flipper". I was after the Hammer of Quiet Mourning which would replace my venerable Sun Eater as my main tanking ...

... So looking at loot rank, it seems that there isn't really many one maces other than Hammer of Quiet Mourning.
That is fast.
I am thinking to use the TitanSteel Bonecrusher but it is a slow weapon which I don't mind using but I will suffer in HS damage.
I just feel I shouldn't be cornered into using a Sword / AXE and lose my amazing racial of 5 expertise skill = 1.25% less parry and dodge.
hopefully there will be more items that are mace related.
Does anyone tank with the Bone crusher? how do you like it? ...

... Blade storm to be useful when we had lots of mobs that i needed to gain threat on quickly. Also the Toughness and Armored to the Teeth combo produces a neat increase in AP, that may surpass the 2% strength loss from the vitality switch to strength of arms. The avoidance increase may be useful in pvp against other melee combatant, since it would still apply. Finally mace spec is very useful for me because I use Titansteel Destroyer in dps mode and Hammer of Quiet Mourning
